CHILD CARE
Interested in making a difference?
You can sponsor a child through our Child Care Programme or support the further education of our high school graduates through our Tertiary Sponsorships.
At the heart of Bulembu’s mission is our Community Care infrastructure-which includes the Child Care Programme, Bulembu Christian Academy, Bulembu Clinic, and Bulembu Community Church. These work together to help rebuild the social fabric that has been deeply affected by the AIDS pandemic and widespread unemployment in Eswatini.
Bulembu is home to around 350 orphaned and vulnerable children, providing care from infancy through to young adulthood.
Our model is centred around holistic, family-style care. Instead of large institutional orphanages, each child lives in a renovated home with a dedicated caregiver and up to five other children-forming a nurturing family environment. This approach not only meets their daily needs but also prepares them for a future filled with hope and purpose.
These new families are helping to restore a nation, one life at a time-raising tomorrow’s leaders in the heart of Eswatini.
CHILD SPONSORSHIP
Bulembu’s Child Sponsorship Programme is a powerful way to be part of our mission to rescue children, raise up leaders, and rebuild both a community and a nation.
Unlike many sponsorship models, ours goes far beyond just meeting basic needs like food, shelter, and clothing. Through child sponsorship, we’re able to provide long-term, holistic care—ensuring each child receives the support they need to grow, thrive, and reach their full potential.
100% of your sponsorship goes directly toward the child’s care, covering essentials such as medical needs, food, a loving caregiver, clothing, housing, and a full education. Your support helps give Swazi children the opportunity to simply be children-while preparing them to become confident, capable leaders in their homes, communities, and nation.
At Bulembu, we believe every child deserves the chance to learn, grow, and pursue their dreams. Sponsorship makes that possible.
